The collection is inspired by maps; from detailed ordinance survey maps to flowing lines evident in abstract wind maps. A collaboration between David Ross who designed an innovative take on flat pack furniture and Flux Laser & CNC Studio who created the clocks and manufactured the collection.

The elegant structural birch plywood furniture was screen printed in our studio prior to using the guidance and facilities provided by Flux Laser & CNC Studio. We created a series of hand drawn designs inspired by the land and weather conditions in Scotland, from wind and rain to contour maps, the lines and drops add a greater depth to the surfaces.

Applying our flowing patterns to the wood, glass and fabric of the furniture before assembly allowed for a playful interaction of patterns and primary colours in this unique collection of bespoke furniture.
