High Street

Working in collaboration with architecture practice Dress for the Weather and Glasgow East Arts Company, we designed a series of screens for the new Glasgow Housing Association building on High Street in Glasgow City Centre.

The screens are made of Corten steel, water jet cut with a pattern inspired by maps of the local area and screen printed with illustrations reflecting the history of High Street.

The screens protect the building facade from traffic and pedestrian access while the colour and textures merge themselves into the urban landscape.
